Demand for Immediate Resignation of Governor Kambulu in Kasaï Central – Union Sacrée’s Stand
In a bold move, the Union Sacrée and its allies in Kasaï Central are demanding the immediate and forced resignation of Governor Joseph-Moïse Kambulu. The governor is under fire for making statements deemed oppositional, inappropriate, and malicious towards the central government and the head of state.
Union Sacrée’s Call for Resignation
According to a statement sent to ACTUALITE.CD, the member parties of the Union Sacrée in Kasaï Central are eagerly awaiting Moïse Kambulu’s resignation. They state, “We demand the forced, immediate, and unconditional resignation of the Provincial Governor in order to have a trusted Governor who will help our Province flourish.”
The official representative of the Head of State, who opposes the vision of the nation’s guarantor, has allegedly disregarded the efforts and sacrifices made by the central government despite the war imposed on them by Rwanda and its allies. The Union Sacrée points out the palpable achievements made by President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo in Kasaï Central, such as the construction of a modern-standard university in Kananga, the building and equipping of the Royal Athenaeum of Kananga, and the eradication of certain erosions that tarnished the city’s image.
Support for President Tshisekedi Tshilombo
The Union Sacrée also highlights the construction of modern schools, health centers, and various infrastructure projects that are set to boost the province’s development. These accomplishments stand as a testament to the President’s commitment to the region’s progress and prosperity.
In a surprising turn of events, Governor Moïse Kambulu claimed during a briefing that “the Province of Kasaï Central has been completely forgotten, and nothing has been done. I take full responsibility.”
As tensions rise and demands for resignation intensify, the political landscape in Kasaï Central remains turbulent. The future of Governor Kambulu hangs in the balance as the Union Sacrée stands firm in its call for change and progress in the region.
